My nook came in the mail today! (My hubby got it for me for Christmas but all the shipments were delayed so it just arrived).

I've had fun trying it out. My husband gave me a $50 e-book gift card today so I can put some books on it, haha!

I'm so torn about what books to put on there though, lol! I don't necessarily want to put "keeper" books on there because I want those on my shelf. Books that I will probably want to share with others are also probably ones I shouldn't put on there. (You can lend to someone else who has an e-reader but only once per book!)

What one book do you suggest I put on there??

I have the same problem with my kindle (also a Christmas gift). I still love to hold books in my hand and have them on my shelf. Right now I only have Anne of Green Gables on it because I wasn't sure where my copy was and that whole series is free to download.

Yay, Jenny!! It looks so neat! Is it a touch screen?

I have the same problem with my e-reader! I don't know what books to buy to put on it!! I think I might get the 3rd Ghost Dusters mystery, but other than that, I don't know!!

I'm curious what your thoughts are once you dig into it a bit more! Please share!

I got a Nook for Christmas too! So far I haven't put much but some free books (A Little Princess, Suite Scarlett, Mother Carey's Chickens). I got downloaded some [free] samples (like The Maze Runner) of some books though and once I read those if I feel like reading more I'm going to buy the book.

So far I'm looking my Nook.

Yeah see, that's why I won't get one. Because I'd rather own the physical than the electronic version of pretty much anything. Good luck with your hard choices!

You know, I am fascinated, but a part of me holds back from this degree of technological advancement!

One of my novels is available on Kindle...that probably means you can't download to Nook.

I don't really understand it, but I know that I felt slightly annoyed whenever I walked into Barnes & Noble during the holidays, to be met by someone pushing the "Nook."

I say "pushing," because the person wouldn't accept my response when I said I wasn't interested. She kept saying "Why not?"

Sorry...don't mean to rain on your parade, as obviously, you're excited and enjoying it.

I'll be anxious to hear more about your experience with it.

Maybe I'm just a diehard "physical book" person!

I've decided to return by current reader and get the Nook instead. :) It looks much more user friendly compared to the one I have!

Can't wait to see what you think of this once you have time to use it! I just got a Sony reader a few months ago, so I won't be changing any time soon, but I always like to hear what people think of new products.

Tina -- Haha, go figure... I have that entire series on my shelf. =)

Jen -- already responded to ya on facebook. =)

Andrea -- I've gotten some free samples too. =) I thought about trying The Maze Runner.

Sumanam -- I will!

Alayne -- It's a fun "toy" but I definitely still like physical books too!

Laurel -- that would have really irritated me too. I can't stand it when they're pushy. My BN has one out to play with but no one's bothered me while I play with it.

Melissa -- how you do like the Sony one?

I hope your going to do a review of your nook. It would be so helpful.
It is too late for me since I ordered mine two nights ago. I just couldn't resist. :)

I hope your having fun with it.

I am green with envy. I am conflicted on whether I should get one. I love the feel of a book in my hand but there are times where I just feel that need to read a book, right at that moment so I think an e-reader would be great for that. Oh, and traveling would be so much easier without me carting my huge carry-on of books.
