Cover Attraction

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

This is a weekly event hosted by Marcia of The Printed Page every Wednesday.

"I love beautiful, and interesting, cover art so every Wednesday I post my 'Cover Attraction' for the week along with a synopsis of the book. Everyone is welcome to stop by and, if they'd like, post a link to their favorite weekly book cover."

I probably won't do this every week but there are some pretty covers I saw recently that I wanted to post.

I already have a keeper of this (with the original green cover) on my shelf and when I saw this I almost bought it so I could have this one instead, lol! It's soooo pretty!!

I haven't read this book yet but this is the newly printed cover. I love it... it's so interesting and mysterious looking. I realllly want to read this book and when I do I will buy THIS one.

Are these colors not GORGEOUS! I love it! I already read this book though and it's not one of my favorites by her so I'm not going to buy this one... unless I decide I need to collect them all, haha

Again another one where I love the colors.. so pretty. I like the way the cover on this one feels too.

I agree -- The Shadows of the Wind cover is really unique and kind of a mind-bending, illusion-type color. The sunset colors ARE gorgeous on the second to last book, and the cover of Life of Pi is beautiful... kind of tranquil colors.

These are indeed beautiful covers!
BTW - your blog is also very pretty. I just love pink!

Great covers. That first one is gorgeous. Shadow of the Wind is intriguing too. I just reviewed The Angel's Game by Zafon today, now I want to read Shadow of the Wind as well. My Cover Attraction is up.

Thanks everyone!

Andreea, I love pink too! I worry, though, that my blog might be overkill for some non-pink lovers, lol. I'm going to try to mix it up every once in a while!

Sandra, I really want to read both of those! I don't know why I haven't gotten around to them yet!
