I'm going to be joining Melissa from Coffee, Books, and Laundry in doing the 1001 Books to Read Before You Die Challenge.
Melissa says, The 1,000 Books Challenge is a way for me to incorporate one of these must-reads monthly into my reading.
Here are the rules:
Must read 1 book a month from the list.
Must rotates lists every month.
(For example, August I will take a book from the 2000's list, then following month choose a book from the 1800's.)
I'm going to do my best at keeping up with this because there are some really good books on the list! Some might be re-reads too either because I really like the book or because it's been so long since I read it. If I read it for high school, chances are I really don't remember it, haha!
Welcome to Take Me Away!!
Hello! Thanks for stopping by Take Me Away, where I review books of a variety of genres. My favorite genres are literary and contemporary fiction, though I also enjoy some mystery/thrillers. I also enjoy sociological and psychological non-fiction. Check out the tabs across the top to navigate the site. All the reviews on this site are categorized by title (fiction or non-fiction) or by author. Check out the "About Jenny" section to learn a little more about me. Thanks again for stopping by, and feel free to leave a comment even if it's just to say hi! =)

I have to think about this one... I want to.... but I have so much already on my list of reads....
It's tempting though isn't it? LOL! I'm only in one other official "blog" challenge but I still had to think about it since it's one book a month. Hope I keep up!
This sounds awesome - I've seen these lists before and there are so many of themthat I know I am dying to read. But ... do I really have time for such a demanding challenge? I'm definitely putting it on a to consider list. Good luck with your reading - this is definitely an ambitious, wonderful challenge.
Thanks, Jennifer! I figure it's one book a month, and if I don't get it read (like this month) well then I'll just try again the next month!
