Matters of Faith (mini-review)

Matters of Faith by Kristy Kiernan tells the story of a family, their daughter with medical issues, and the girlfriend their son brings home from college who has alternative beliefs in medicine due to her religion. This leads to a trauma that pulls the family apart. The book was compulsively readable because it flowed so well from one page to the next. The feelings experienced by the family were so real and intense. It is told from both the mother's point of view and the son's point of view. This was a wonderful book and I finished it in 24 hours!!! I will DEFINITELY be reading more by this author!
